A Leap of Faith
Age three is a perfect age to start dance training. Children naturally run, skip, jump, and turn. When we add discipline, creativity, and structure a child will learn basic movements of danc
e, counting to music, sequencing, moving together as a group, and memorization skills. We also incorporate tumbling for strength and flexibility and dramatic arts for imagination and self-confidence.
BALLET
Ages 5 and up
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. It teaches discipline, grace, and movement interpretation. Progression is gradual. The dancer will begin their
classical Ballet training with Introduction to Ballet. As they master the required skills, they will progress to the next level of Ballet. The ultimate goal of the Ballerina is to perform on Pointe. When the instructor feels a ballerina is ready, she will begin her Pointe training.
